H.M Queen Elizabeth II; The Royal Tour to New Zealand and Australia 1953-54, form N.Z.A. 1 (issued on the authority of the Keeper of the Privy Purse) regarding the purchase tax on goods ordered for the forthcoming tour, addressed to 'Kate Day 99 Mount Street W.1.' dated 'Oct. 23rd' 1953 and signed 'Elizabeth R' all handwritten in dark blue ink.
Provenance; Kate Day was Milliner to Queen Elizabeth in the 1950's, and supplied many hats for the Royal Tours of those years, thence by family descent.
